President Obama popped up in Afghanistan today for a surprise holiday visit to American troops. The trip comes at a time when Afghan leader Hamid Karzai is under increased scrutiny over corruption, with harsh criticism coming from the United States itself in diplomatic cables released by Wikileaks.
