David Gregory writes: We were in Simi Valley, California on Sunday morning. broadcasting from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, but our focus remained in Egypt. With coverage from all angles, the general consensus seemed to be that, slowly but surely, progress is being made. As former Secretary of State James Baker put it, "I think things, tentatively, are moving in the right direction." Richard Engel reported that the Egyptian government will suspend emergency law - a large concession.

Senator Kerry called the move, "a major, major opening of the door to the democratic process."

It's big news coming on the 13th day of a revolution that took most of the world by surprise and that has no clear organizer. The closest thing the revolution has to a leader is Mohamed ElBaradei, who joined me this morning from Cairo.

The other focus of Sunday's program was the legacy of Ronald Reagan on what would have been his 100th birthday. Joining me was a roundtable of those who worked with or covered President Reagan. Here is my library tour with former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan.

MTP Monday trivia
This week's trivia question: Reagan appeared on Meet the Press in 1977 and clarified comments he had made about supporting changing the name of what?

Executive Producer Betsy Fischer (@BetsyMTP) reveals the answer this week via Twitter.

Last week's question: What journalist turned White House Press Secretary was asked on Meet the Press what advice he'd give his successor in "one of the most thankless jobs in Washington?"

Answer: George Christian was a journalist for International News Serive, then White House Press Secretary to LBJ from 1966-1969.

Click here to watch Christian's 1/19/1969 appearance — on his last day as Press Secretary — during which he offered advice to successor Ron Ziegler.
