David Gregory writes: We were in Simi Valley, California on Sunday morning. broadcasting from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, but our focus remained in Egypt. With coverage from all angles, the general consensus seemed to be that, slowly but surely, progress is being made. As former
Secretary of State James Baker put it, "I think things, tentatively, are moving in the right direction." Richard Engel reported that
the Egyptian government will suspend emergency law - a large concession.
Senator Kerry called the move, "a major, major opening of the door to the democratic process."
It's big news coming on the 13th day of a revolution that took most of the world by surprise and that has no clear organizer. The closest thing the revolution has to a leader is Mohamed ElBaradei,
who joined me this morning from Cairo.
The other focus of Sunday's program was the legacy of Ronald Reagan on what would have been his 100th birthday. Joining me was a roundtable of those who worked with or covered President Reagan. Here is
my library tour with former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan.
