Charlie Sheen Fired 'moral turpitude' More

TV bosses have outlined their reasons for firing Charlie Sheen from the hit sitcom Two And A Half Men, accused the troubled actor put his work on risk by engaging in "dangerous self-destructive behavior. "

Warner Bros. executives announced on Monday (07Mar11) that Sheen has started the show, ending the war with the manufacturer since fallen by the author / creator Chuck Lorre public in January (11).

In a letter sent to lawyers 11 pages Sheen, attorney John W. Spiegel cites a clause in the contract at this time actor who has been violated, and back points with quote star has been given in his media blitz.

Termination letter begins, "Your client has engaged in conduct harmful self-destructive and apparently very sick."

Sheen accused of refusing to work under the terms of the deal after he said he would return next season, "but not with their droppings in place". His bragging about taking the "rock-seven grams of" cocaine is also included in the section on the legal concept of moral turpitude, which refers to conduct contrary to accepted moral.

Sheen also said to have infuriated boss after the exercise is lost, forgotten lines and lost 20 pounds (nine kilograms) last year (10).

Sources connected with Charlie tell us ... Charlie has what they call a "Michael J. Fox" clause in his contract.  When Fox was doing "Spin City," his contract provided that he would keep getting paid as long as the show was in production, even if he left the show.  Ironically, when Charlie took over for Michael, Michael kept drawing his salary.

Sources say when Charlie signed on for "Two and a Half Men" ... the original contract provided an identical clause, so Charlie's people believe Warner Bros. is on the hook if they keep producing the show.

Here's the rub.  Warner Bros. claims they fired Charlie for cause, nullifying the contract. 

These are the battles that keep lawyers employed.
