Kye Allums, the transgender member of the George Washington women's team, whose season was cut short by concussions, said he would not play his senior year. The university announced that Allums "has decided that it is in his best interest to no longer participate in intercollegiate athletics."
Allums said in March that he had sustained eight concussions over all, was having memory problems and was unsure whether he would be cleared medically to play his senior season.
