ALEXANDRIA TWP. — The middle school band and chorus will perform at a memorial ceremony Thursday, May 26 at 6 p.m. at the school, where 6,000 flags will commemorate 1.2 million soldiers who have died at war. American Legion Post 113 of Frenchtown will serve as honor guard.

The parade heads down Main Street to Califon Island Park. In honor of those being remembered, Saint Ann Drum and Pipes will play from the center of the Califon bridge.
A memorial service will held at noon next to the Califon Veterans Memorial. The national anthem will be sung by the Voorhees High School Choir while local Scouts raise the American flag.
