Tonight on Hardball—Egypt is pitting conservatives against each other. While Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and The Weekly Standard's Bill Kristol claim to support the democratic movement, Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck say they fear an Islamic world takeover. Is this fracturing the conservative party?
Next—Donald Rumsfeld appeared on Rush Limbaugh's show today and said he shares Glenn Beck's fear of an Islamic caliphate. Does the former Defense Secretary really agree with the conservative host, or is he just playing to the base to sell books? And in the book he claims that President Bush first suggested invading Iraq after 9/11. This is worth a second look.
Then--Some Republicans aren't happy with the field of candidates for 2012... Is the answer drafting Jeb Bush? And then--After months of pressure from the Right, four Senate Democrats up for re-election in 2012 now want to roll back parts of President Obama's landmark healthcare mandate. But can this help them win re-election? More on them tonight, with Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) and MSNBC's Howard Fineman. Don't miss this show!
