ClintonDavid Gregory writes: The president has not achieved all his goals while abroad and the GOP has jumped at the chance to cite that as proof of his weakness as a leader. When I asked Sec. Clinton about it, she said what the president is doing abroad transcends politics - especially when it comes to the START treaty.

Another issue I wanted to hit on with Clinton was the growing controversy over airport security procedures. It has made its way into the news with footage of some of the very hands-on TSA agents screening passengers. Clinton said she would not question the judgment of Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, but she would like to see less invasive measures used in the future.

Following Clinton I was joined by Republican Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, whose new book burns the Obama administration's response to the Gulf oil spill. Jindal's name has been thrown around as a 2012 contender, but today he denied any ambition to run. However he did leave the door open to be vice president on a ticket.

Gov. Jindal did not mince words when talking about the administration's response to the crisis in the Gulf. He said they acted incompetently and the administration "doesn't get it." The White House responded by calling Jindal's criticism nothing more than an attempt to sell books.

Jindal also called TSA screening procedures "absolutely excessive." He says screeners "Are not using common sense," but also noted, "We're not talking about profiling."

Last week's question: Co-creator, producer and first moderator Martha Rountree hosted a "female-focused" radio show prior to Meet the Press - what was the name of it?

Answer: Leave It To The Girls was the "female-focused" radio show Martha Rountree created prior to co-creating MTP in 1947.
