TLC is to serve up to twelve episodes DC cake, following the hit series brother and business partner Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis and colorful crew at Georgetown Cupcake. Batter will splatter and icing will fly every half hour to walk behind the screen to capture the trials and tribulations of running a bustling family business. New season premiere Feb. 25 at 10 | 9c only on TLC.
Delicious cupcakes and great TV whipped up by Georgetown Cupcakes and TLC for tonight, as season 2 is fresh out of the oven.
DC Cupcakes Season 2 Premieres Friday, Feb. 25 at 10/9c with Cupcakes for the troops:
Over ten thousand cupcakes were airshipped with the utmost care, boxed and kept cool with dry-ice for the long air trip to the warfronts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Transported aboard the Chairman’s plane into the theater, then aboard a C-17 on this pallet, these cupcakes arrived in perfect condition.
Upon arrival, weather prevented the group from visited one Forward Operating Base (FOB), but allowed their visit to the 86th Combat Support Hospital, visit with command personnel and then set up for the evening show at the Camp Liberty Stage before a crowd estimated over 1,200 troops.

Following its sweet success in season one, TLC is serving up another twelve episodes of DC CUPCAKES, the hit series following sisters and business partners Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis and the colorful crew at Georgetown Cupcake. Batter will splatter and icing will fly as each half-hour goes behind-the-scenes to capture the trials and tribulations of running a bustling family business. DC CUPCAKES will air Fridays at 10 PM (ET/PT) with back-to-back episodes beginning Feb. 25.
This season promises more drama delicious. Armed with their grandmother's recipes and "Mommy" by their party, Sophie and Katherine risen to every challenge, including 10,000 baking cupcakes to be sent to Afghanistan for our troops, creating a giant pink bra out of the cake for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, catering for a birthday party cake two gorillas at the zoo and create a couture wedding gown out of the cake for DC Fashion Week.
DC CUPCAKES will air Fridays at 10 PM (ET/PT) with back-to-back episodes beginning Feb. 25.
